Aramis is a modern French aroma hop from Comptoir Agricole in Alsace, a cross of Strisselspalt and Whitbread Golding. It keeps Strisselspalt's refined character — sweet, spicy and floral with citrus, herbs and a hint of strawberry — while offering a touch more bittering.

Aramis is a 2002 cross of French Strisselspalt with English Whitbread Golding Variety (WGV), bred by Comptoir Agricole in Alsace and released in 2009 — the first variety from its breeding program.
