What it tastes like

Calypso is a versatile dual-purpose American hop with a distinctive fruit basket — pear, apple, melon and tropical fruit with a lemony lift. Its moderate-high alpha lets it bitter cleanly while bringing a fresh, fruity aroma to pale ales and IPAs.

Calypso shines in late and dry-hop additions, where its pear-apple-and-tropical fruit character comes forward.
